I walk 60 minutes 6 days a week and on M-W-T, I go straight from the treadmill to the my weight machine.
Afterwards I have:
Breakfast: 4 scambled egg white, 2 strips Turkey Bacon, Oatmeal and LF milk.
I've never been good at breakfast until I started this and I have to say I look forward to it.
I've been doing this since I started my program Dec 26, 2004 but it has just come to my attention that maybe I should be eating before weights?
Any thoughts?

First thought I have is that you should probably do just a warm up on the treadmill for a few minutes then hit the weights, I have learned here at FT that any type of cardio is best done after the weight training or it can deplete too much energy. Same with the eating, now I usually try to drink a protein drink after weight lifting, that is just my way of getting some of the needs met immediately since I have at least a 45 minute drive back home to food resources! I have also learned that here at FT.
Your breakfast sounds good and is very important, you do not say "when" you are working out, so I'm not sure if you are waiting too long to eat or not?
Good luck to you! There are many suggestions on fitbuddy search, too! :)

Thanks for the input Veda. I start my day on the treadmill at 6:00 AM every morning and move on to the weights M-W-F. Then it's breakfast time no later then 8:00 AM.
I've never tried a protein drink before may have to look into this.
Is there a "waiting too long" period for eating breakfast?

So you aren't eating anything until after your workout? There are many "opinions" on this, but I agree with many that state that our bodies have not been nourished for many hours before breakfast so to go and workout without any energy source would seem to be a bad idea. If you could try and eat something, maybe even that protein drink, drink half and then drink throughout your workout would be better than nothing I would imagine. Your body is searching for nutrition when you wake and you are not eating and then working out, causing your body to look frantically for a energy source.
Again, everyone is different, but I believe this to be one of the many FT suggestions I have learned is well worth looking into.
Good luck! :)

Yeah, the fasted state training can be more detrimental than helpful.
