I am too thin, 51kg, 170cm. I am underweight, I know and I have been eating more and exercising. I gained 3kg in 6 weeks, perhaps due to creatine as I was using it then. But my fats are around my abs and thighs and though not lots, they are still considerably gross. What am I doing wrong? I do eat 5 times daily...Should I just start eating anything, irrespective of nutritional value?

No.
Stick to a clean diet, but incraese your caloric intake about 200 over your regular amount (did you track for a week or so and figure out your average caloric intake?)
Don't do too much cardio, and lift heavy, with an abbreviated routine to stimulate growth hormone and avoid catabolism.

Asimmer, what is 'an abbreviated routine'? I work out 4 days per week, cardio 3 times a week.
