Hi all...i'm shiny new here. After having gone through a few years of extreme stress...in a nutshell, we moved to a new city when my son was 3 weeks old, he was then diagnosed with autism at 2 years of age...after all this, things are now finally on track...made wonderful friends, have a good job, great family life, most importantly my son is doing AMAZING!! but now i take a step back to look at myself and find myself weighing 60lbs more than i should. I want and need to be healthy for my son and myself and gotta get out of my rut and into life. Where to start? I have real carb issues...would live on white bread and pasta if I could but find these are my downfall...also need to get some exercise into my life...even though i am very active with my son...any tips? Thanx...

Welcome to FT!
First off, switch from white to brown bread... (it's not as bad as many people think). Keep a close eye on what you eat. You can do this by inputing all your diet info into the nutrition tracker here. That'll give you an idea of what you should and shouldn't be eating. Also, check out the 'grocery list for a bodybuilder' here on FT.
Secondly, use fitbuddy to do some research and searching on this site. There is a ton of info here. Use that before posting a question. Plenty of questions have been asked over and over again.
Also, fill out your profile and pick a fitness plan from FT. Many to choose from based on your goals.
Again, welcome to FT.
