Why did I just eat a Red Baron Breakfast pizza for breakfast? I told myself I would be good today. It's like a nightmare that plays itself over and over everyday. Ingesting that greasy fat and all of those calories, gah I feel sick but I bet I could eat another! But I won't. Maybe a healthy lunch will make me feel better.

Why would you chose to eat a pizza instead of something healthy? Discipline yourself.

I used to own a gas station/convenience store. I sold Buffet Pizza and they had a breakfast pizza too. Well, I made one every morning on opening up, and seemed I always had to eat the last piece that didn't sell! Then I discovered my dog really liked it, so she started getting breakfast pizza every morning! Now I feel bad about giving it to her.

Whew...I hate to say it but we're going to have moments like that - even some of the strongest, most fit find themselves shoving chocolate into their mouths, or a good alcholic beverage, or whatever temptation wins them over momentarily....what matters is that we don't let it take us down and make us continue on that path, which I have found is the easiest thing to do; once you feel you've screwed up you figure, "aw, what the heck, I've already blown it", whether it is a day or a month of that thought process it certainly catches up to us and there we are back to the beginning just getting on and off the roller coaster - so I figure it this way, if I mess up - no matter how determined I was not to, I refuse to let it build up and continue with that behavior as an excuse to eat more crap! If this was an easy thing to do, we wouldn't be here, right? So, hang tough, LOOK at your food real good next time and decide before you take a bite if this is what you want - really think about it, most of us with a problem with our weight have a bad habit of gobbling before thinking, we push our thoughts way to the back of our brains and quick shovel the chow in and think to ourselves that we just didn't think it through, no...we probably did think about it and refused to think any more about it and just gave in to our bad habits once more. So, don't be too hard on yourself, but at the same time, don't be too easy either.

Nothing wrong with indulgence, once and a while.
I myself will have a small cheese pizza for dinner once and a while, thin crust, on whole wheat, and I make sure its trans fat free.
