At the Olympia this weekend, I got to participate in two bench demos: All-natural bencher Paul Vargo (the current world record holder in the 275s) after blowing up 665 like it was nothing, missed a lock out by about 3 inches with 705. And this was his first time benching after 2 and a half months with shoulder/tricep rehab. We'll see him at the World's in Reno in two weeks. I also got to see another record holder, Andy Fiedler, push 835. Being a demo, it wasn't a full, but still, seeing that many plates over someone's chest is nothing more that NUTS!!!!
