Okay, I got this fabulous idea...how about if all of us that are interested meet here on Monday's, much like it has been, only with more priority and we will post the following:

The GOOD things from the prior week that happened with regard to our weight struggles -

The GOOD things we want to accomplish for the upcoming week -

And then the BAD things that threatened to mess us up - because we know that we have to share those, too, or we'd stuff it inside and run for the goodies!

If we can focus on those three things plus anything else you want to throw in, I think that it may help us out - being accountable to one another somewhat, because we truly need to have an outlet and people that won't judge us, that are in the same position and that can sympathize yet at the same time give it to us straight!

Lastly, I think it may be very helpful if we try to RESPOND to those that post, giving our attention to their difficulties and their accomplishments - it is so nice when someone responds to your post as I feel it makes us feel someone cares to take the time to do so!

Just an idea...you can throw it back at me or maybe add some of your own ideas, I would just really enjoy seeing this forum expand within as there are so many of us that fit into it's category. For me, this is the first place I look when I sign in as it is what I am OVERWEIGHT and OBESE, then I utilize the other forums to learn what others are doing that works for them!

Well.....what do you think? Please post and let me know and maybe we can put a post in once a week at the General forums inviting others to join us!

Veda, I am so with you on getting our Monday check in back in check! I know that since things have kinda fallen apart I have not been working out as regularly or watching what I am eating quite as closely. The accountability is something we all need to succeed. I am first in line for this one!!

YEH!! Three of us are ready to get it together - together!!

I know there are more out there, come on, dig out that determination, that motivation, that need grinding at your heart and soul that says I WANT TO BE HEALTHY!!

JUST DO IT!!!!!!

Join us, DX14AG! I am certainly overweight, myself, but there is so much involved with a unhealthy lifestyle that I believe some may flock here to be able to gain support and share their accomplishments even though they may not at the moment be overweight but are still struggling with the whole change of lifestyle and not wanting to find themselves falling back to bad habits. We can learn from one another and that is what I enjoy about being here Mondays and in-between! Glad to have you!
