I want to add on 10 pounds of lean muscle. Im 6'1, 190 lbs.

1. Based upon the muscle in a year post by asimmer, I would gather this would take me about 7 months (based upon 1.5 lbs. of muscle a month). Does this sound about right?
2. How should I go about making sure to just add muscle without fat? Watch carbs or what?

That article I have stayed away from for several reasons. For one, I don't think anyone can say how much muscle a person can put on in "x" amount of time. So much depends on genetics, diet, metabolic rate, training protocol, level of training experience, etc.
