Everything I have read says that your post workout shake should contain a ration of 2:1 of sugars to protein. All the protein shakes I have found though contain very few if any sugar. Do you recommend any. Or would it be o.k. if I mixed a teaspoon or two of sugar into my shake.

thats one of the major problems with all of this "low-carb" mania garbage. people are all of sudden scared of carbs, tho they r THE fuel for your body (but thats a separate article I'm writing). so it's difficult to find good products.

a decent post-workout product is prolab's Nlarge: it has 88g:52G carbs:protein mixed in water. i liked to mix super whey pro and carbo-plus (which has no flavor), both from Universal, in order to get the 2:1 ratio that i needed.
