I forgot to do abs today and tomorrow is my cardio day. I don't have time to do an am pm workout so was wondering if it's ok to do abs before my cardio and still go 30-40 min. on the treadmill. and being i'll just be doing abs do i still need a postworkout protein shake or can i just eat my regular meal after cardio of baked beans broccoli and ground beef. thanks
In that case a "compromise" is probably needed. I would have a protein/glutamine shake, this will have negligible effect on blood sugar while helping to shut down any catabolism and at the same of course preserving any lypolysis you may have achieved from your cardio session. In an hour, have your normally scheduled meal. This is probably your best bet in this case, and what I would do.

I only have protein poweder no glutamine so i guess that will have to suffice. So should I do them before or after cardio? So everything should be ok as for burning fat. Would it be bad to just skip abs all together? and maybe do them tomorrow on my day off as they won't take long or too much energy to do.
