I had an Asian friend and she told me this: (and yes, it's been tried... I tried it..)
1) She says that if you drink Chinese tea, it'll wash off the grease on your food.. (I dunno HOW, but it's like a theory)
2) Eat chinese meals (NOT the ordinary chow mein , egg foo whatever it's called... What local asian eats..)
3)Japanese meals and tea will also have the same effect...
It sorta works you know.. I've sort of lost my love handles,.. (In two months that is... No chocolate, nothing but tea, meals... I had a few snacks though..)

Green tea, steamed vegetables and rice (and eat with sticks!) will do everybody some good!
Good job of yours! :)

I think green tea is supposed to raise your metabolism?

Research suggests that EGCG content in green tea is the most important catechin for weight loss. Although most products specify the amount of polyphenols, only a few list the EGCG content. This is especially important if you are buying a green tea supplement. I got introduced to green tea in 1995 in Australia, and have been a fairly heavy drinker of it ever since. I personally drink 2-4 cups daily for many years. The other health benefits are of themselves well worth it)(antioxidant properties). Plust I like the taste.
