Just curious but should your rest days be next to each other or shouldn't you break them up?

Cardio days kinda count as rest days. They are days without weight lifting.
My ft program has Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri as weight days, and the others off. I do my cardio and Karate on Wed, Fri, Sat. Sunday is completely off.

LOL I asked the same question when I started. I didn't know when to do the cardio, and I knew that my wife wouldn't want to give up any more time than she already does.

i personally don't like doing shoulders, tris and chest together, thats just me though, too much pressing
-------------- if you kick a tiger in the @$$ , you then have to descide what to do with the teath end.

I'd recommed cutting abs down to 1 day a week - until you get rid of the fat on your stomach, doing ab work will just make your stomach bulgier.
I wouldn't want to do chest, shoulders, triceps, and abs all in one day. If you're working each muscle group hard, you're gonna have progressively subpar results with each progressive group. I've tried shoulders and triceps on the same day, and no matter which I did first, the other suffered greatly.
Personally, I'd cut out the cardio and spread out the weights over a few more days. You'll have much more intense (and hopefully productive) workouts.

How about you use the resources on this site to create a workout for you. Just put in the number of days you can workout, the specific muscle groups you want to work out.
