Now that the two months of the ft program is over, I can consider three things...
a. I can stay in my happy little world hugging my smaller self for all the things I've done while binging on chocolate dipped donuts.
b. Gloat and strut about while busily making sure that my credit card has been worked out to it's fullest extent and practice my swiping skills to perfection in the quest for that elusive perfect little black dress.
c. Take a week off of the gym, treat myself to a new body-luvin, hip-huggin, head-turning, low-slung jeans, then focus on some outdoor sports that I'd love to try out and even give me a new challenge for the entirety of the week.
............................
I'm taking option 3, because I've always wanted to learn to kayak and rock-climb. And I don't think I'll ever take option 1, since the notion of just congratulating myself over such little results is such a personal turn off. I ain't about to rest on my laurels now.
I've a whole lifetime to get better, and the journey to being healthy is far from over.
-------------- There is no pain. There will BE no pain.
Now for the love of god...put the donut...DOWN!!!

You're one smart cookie, Cupcake!
My 8 weeks are over today, too. Don't know if I have any real quantifiable gains because I foolishly didn't record any baseline information. However, I do feel better and stronger! I'll do that during my week off before I plunge into the mass building program. I want to start popping the upper buttons on my shirts and not so many of the lower ones. (Just for the record, I'm not any taller....yet)

She could also exploit the "high hair" option better than I could. :(

LMAO!!! Yeah, princess! I'm sure those emails will help cupcake tremendously! Low-cut jeans and extra inches. Hmm... Wait, the elusive, perfect black dress. That'll go with those extra inches. Aagh!
Yes, cupcake. I think option 3/c is the best. Get outside and try some of those activities that you've always wanted to do. You could even incorporate some of option b in (swiping the credit card for proper kayaking and rock climbing apparel).
My brother-in-law is a belayer at a local rock wall. He has develoed great upper body strength and can climb really well now. His shoulders and arms are well chiseled.
Congrats and good luck. Make sure you stick around and let us know how it's going. Oh, and when you find the low-cut jeans and perfect black dress, post the pics.
