Hi! I'm 15, my height is 5'5, my weight is 133 lbs. I'm currently having difficulty with fat around my mid section. I joined a cross country running team to slim down but thats not getting rid of my tummy fat. I do anywhere from 100 to 200 sits ups a day along with cross country practice which consists of about 3 miles of running. Does anyone have sugestion on how to loose this stubborn fat? Also... anyother sugestions on weight loss in general... by the way.. my diet is very healthy.. three well balanced meals...

You may need to eat more... fill out a profile and keep track of what you're eating.... instead of having three well balanced meals a day, why not try five or six smaller, well balanced meals a day?
I've heard different views on the sit up theory too... when you do crunches, you're building muscle which is under the lovely tummy fat... as the muscle gets bigger it pushes the tummy fat out...
I would really focus on the diet.. abs, as some say on this site, are built in the kitchen!

To add, to burn fat build muscle. Notice that runners tend to be flabby (not all runners incase anyone gets offended). Cardio is fine, but weight train too if you want to lose the fat. More muscle mass, higher metabolism, burn fat 24/7. Good luck!
