Hi all,
So Ive been working out bout 4 times a week for months now. Have almost met all goals. Now I have 4 weeks till I leave for boot camp and being so close to my goals I want to crush them.
THis is what I want to do......
Day 1 Cardio, and work with machines upper body and abs
DaY 2, Cardio, and work with lower body and abs.
Repeat, untill sept 13th everyday.
My questions are, 1)is this too much?
2)Can I do abs everyday?
3)Can I do cardio everyday?( I am mixing up the cardio with running and jogging and step classes).
4) Should I do the cardio first or the weights first?
If this is ok, 5)Should I take one day a week off like most suggest?
Sorry for so many questions in one but I wanted to knock it all off, and Ive kinda just been doing whatever as I go. Now I'd like to get a specific routine. I have gone from a chubby weakling into a slightly sexy girl with strengh. You guys have contributed majorly to this transformation. Now that I am down to the wire I would love some opinions. THanks.

Remember what Carivan has posted about a million times on this board:
"Always do the weights first so your muscles aren't fatigued, then the cardio.

definitely have a day off a week.
remember your muscles grow when you are RESTING - working out every day doesn't give them as much chance to grow.

It is a big load so you have to make sure that your getting enough of the right food to support your body's needs.
Your abs are just like any other muscle and can be overtrained. It's better to do your abs every other day rather then everyday. Save your cardio for after weights or later/earlier in the day. And yes, you should take a day off to avoid overtraining. You can workout a muscle as much as want but if they aren't resting then they won't grow.

ok so I'll alternate ab days. Do weights in morn and cardio at night. I guess one thing I should mention is that Im not trying to particularly "build" muscle in the sense of getting ripped or cut. Still got more fat to lose if I wanted to do that anyway. Just trying to get as fit as possible in the final weeks before I go.
So I'll tweak it a little but thanks for letting me know that I won't over kill. And I will take a day off.
