It can increase your metabolism. Most individuals use the stack as a diet aid, combine that together and yes you could lose muscle on it.

Just have to be careful of getting enough proteins in your food (and eat proteins 6-7 times a day also!).
This can make wonders.

Yes, just make sure you still get enough protein in your diet (1-1.5 grams per pound of bodyweight).
