Well lately my strength has been EXTREMELY erratic..
For instance, a month ago on a bench I could pretty easily pull off 3 sets of 12 reps at 115 and then a fourth set of 12 reps at 125. Lately, it's been a struggle to get that fourth set of 12.. last week I got it 2/3 times I lifted chest and then this week I've lifted chest once so far and I only got 10..
What is effecting my strength.. this is really getting me mad. I haven't been able to add weight from 125 (except for once when I did a set at 135) for awhile. The only thing that I've changed since school got out was ofcourse my sleeping schedule.. thats about as erratic as my strength sitation. Sometimes I get five hours, sometimes I get 12..
Is sleep causing me to kill my gains/lifting potential? If its this big of a deal I'll consider going to sleep at 10 ever night.. heh...

Sleep is crucial, one needs to rest thier body after resistance training.
What is your diet like, especially the carb department?

I'm only 13 years old-- I don't really count carbs man..
I eat a lot of protein though, usually egg sandwich or tuna fish is my main lunch course, and for dinner anything from skinless turkey to steak, for breakfast well.. I usually don't eat breakfast, or (this is where youll yell at me) I have a bagel with low fat cottage cheese on it.

LOL..
The five hours of sleep usually is because of sleeping at friends house / what not.
It's odd because sometimes I'll get 12 hours of sleep and still be weak.. can too much sleep do this?

I have a 12.5 year old son. He gains weight, then sleeps a lot, then wakes up an inch taller. Sometimes he only "needs" 5-6 hours of sleep, and other times, it seems like he "needs" 5-6 hours of awake.
If you live with your dad, definitely talk to him about these questions. He will be a good resource for you. If you do not, then find another guy that you trust that you can talk with. I'm sure you know that your hormones are going crazy these years, but you just have to drudge through them. Oh, and stay away from the girls until you are 22.
