Its been 10 yrs since I have lifted wts, at that time I was doing a 3 day on, 1 day off (split body routine). Now I would like to get into shape for a cruise next March 05. I'm 34 and just recently lost 13 lbs from recent stress and family problems; 195 lb to 183-185 lb. I would like to tone up and put on some mass (not like body building mass). Should I do a full body Mon, Wed, Fri.? Talking to a few guys they suggested day 1 chest/tricep, day 2 back/bicep, day 3 off, day 4 shoulders, day 5 legs, and Sat and Sun off. The other is day 1 chest/tricep, day off, day 3 back/bicep, day off, day 5 shoulder/legs, 2 days off. One body part a week. Can anyone help me with a beginners routine (remembering that I have experience, but its been awhile). Thanks Paul

Seeing as how it has been 10 years since you lifted weights, I would go for a full body workout 3 times a week, for the first 3 months.
Then move to a split routine. 5 day split, 4 day split, body part a week, whatever suits you.
Fill out your profile and have a look on this site for workout routines. There are plenty of routines for most levels of fitness\weight lifting here on this site.

Just my 2 cents worth.
Welcome to the site, everything you need is right here on this site. - Mostly anyway. :-)

Yep.
You could pick one of the beginner programs from freetrainers - look under fitness resources.

Good luck!
