I'm wondering if i'm reading the sets correctly when viewing the "personalized excerise program". when it says set# with numbers 1,2,3, and 4 underneath. Does that mean 1 set of 20 then 2 sets of 15 and 3 sets of 12 and 4 sets of 10 for a grand total of 126 reps??? or set #1 20, #2 15 #3 12 and #4 10 for a total of 57 reps. One more question i've heard you should start off with the most you can bench and then work your way down. Or is the reverse best? (start low and work your way to the most you can bench). Thanks in advance.

The first set you'd do 1 set of 20.
Secondy, you'd do one set of 15.
Thirdly, you'd do one set of 12.
Finally, you'd do one set of 10.
Also, as for what weights to use, start light and finish your last set with the highest weight you can handle. This will then most likely cause the last few reps of that set to be difficult because your muscles are going to be tired! Make sense?

now i kinda wanna know now was that overkill?

Yes, I'd say you'd be extremely SORE after doing your sets as you first mentioned! You'll feel so much better with your next routine now that you've got the concept of the sets and reps! Enjoy! Welcome to FT also. :)

wow, ok cool. thanks for the fast replies. I don't know why so many people cry and whine about working out when it's so easy. especially after my crazy ass routine.

No problem!
I don't know if I'd use EASY in the same phrase as anything I would say about weight training!!
