My goal is:

To get serious about losing these last 20 lbs.

To begin following the SugarBuster's plan since I'm a sugar addict. :(

To walk more and to wear my pedometer to track my miles.

College started back up today so here is the true test if I can keep my workout routine going with working full time and classes full time.... I'm gonna do my best though. I'm shooting for 4 days at the gym this week. I also need to up my cardio- I slacked off in that department last week.. And of course try to maintain a healthy diet. I weighed myself this morning and am now at 240- started at 288 so I'm pumped.

Sugarbusters is a life changing book. It helped a dummy like me to make better choices on foods i thought were good for me.

Congrats kaiaw, feels good huh? Thats great.

Nelson, 1200 calories a day is dangerous at a weight of 305. You are essentially putting your body in starvation mode, shutting down your metabolism and causing it to retain fat.

Thanks Charlie!!! That's just what I needed to hear. I'd not call you anything near a dummy though, far from it!! :)

Hello all, I feel so seperated from here of late! I took a two week new affiliate course and took my final exam, which I passed, on Friday, and due to my schedule have not been on the internet but to check orders for my new office opening. I have a few minutes and wanted to get on so I don't drift away, which life has a way of letting us do from time to time.

I am still working at my goals, I brought beef jerky and water with me to class each day while others were eating donuts and sodas, so I feel good about that. I have been bad on my working out, not doing what I want and really pissed off at my husband for not hanging my boxing bag yet (he needs to weld a piece at work as I keep knocking it down out of the stud), it has been nearly 5 weeks and he still keeps giving me excuses, telling me to "go work out on the other stuff", and I get really upset because the boxing was like my lifeline to the "other stuff", I enjoy the boxing but the rest is just something I do...the weights and glider, I don't particulary like them, but I really like the boxing and it helps keep me motivated, so I wish he would understand and fix it....*sniffle*

I looked into another gym I found and it was $160 down to join for just my son and I and an additional $50.00 for the membership and that isn't going to work, but I was told by a member that there was going to be a joining special in September, so I will look for that. Unfortunately, it looked like a retirement gym...not that I am some young chicky, but I was hoping to meet some people my age since I haven't made many friends here yet.

Well, good to see you here!! I will catch up to you all again later! :) Hugs, Kathryn

I mean an affiliate course, not "new", I still have to take an additional 30 hour new affiliate course not this week but the next and take my state test...
