Hi Everyone,
If cardio in the a.m. is bad because your depleted glycogen stores means that you will catabolize lean muscle tissue for energy, what about lifting? If you do an abreviated lift routine in the morning such that you have sufficient energy to perform the lifting, is that ok?
Thanks....

i thought cardio (maybe not a very intense session) before breakfast was best because it boosts your metabolism more so than other wise... o_O

What I'm thinking is if you need to lose wieght then cardio before breakfast (preferrly HITT) & lifting after you give your body something to build muscles with.

Just make sure you eat or have a shake right afterwards - look for bbfit's post about this - I know it got the red thumptack on the top of one section - he does a great job of explaining it

I swear sometimes the things I read make it seem like if I run when I get up I will come hoem and find out all my muscle just fell off my body rofl.

I think as long as you eat something soon afterwards you are fine. :)
