if i got drunk last night, is it pointless to go to the gym and workout today?

I don't know if it is pointless, but you would want to drink lots of water today either way.

If you got drunk last night, the way I see it, you have to go to the gym today. You gotta go run off those calories.

In the past my hardest ever workouts were those fuelled by guilt following a heavy night on the sauce. With the benefit of hindsight I would say go easy, if at all - I remember coming off the stepper, being hit by a wave of nausea and nearly having to make a bid for the ladies toilets - not very pretty!
