I have been fighting with Posterior Tendionits for the past three months, my Dr refuses to let me walk any more then absolutely, i am not to do any areobic exercise, or water exercise, basically anything that puts pressure on my ankle. I have gained 10 lbs in the last three months, as I use to walk 2 miles a day, go to Curves 3 days a week and attend a water excerise class. Any help or suggestion on what i can do that would give me a way to burn more calories would be great.

Can you do seated weight lifting exercises?
-------------- If you fall down seven times, get up eight.
I\'m not lazy, I\'m energetically challenged.

Yes I can do seated excersies as long as it is not putting any pressure on the interior side of my ankle. I am also noticing that my weight gain has gone basically into my legs. My Dr won't clear me to go back to the gym so anything I try to do has to be done at home. Any suggestions?
