I got some very simple questions...

I know these are stupid questions, but I am so new, I dont even know the answers for these :(
1. What are sets?
2. What are repetitions
3. What are input repetitions
4. What are input weights used?
5. If Im right that sets are the numbers that tell you what order you do them, then do you have to do 1 set, stretch, 2 set, stretch, etc.
6. Could you do (if you follow the chart they give you with your own plan), first one thing from the first chart, then stretch, then one thing from the other chart, stretch, etc...

Welcome to FT.. and there are no stupid questions...

1- A set is a grouping of exercises..
2- Reps are how many of those exercises you do in each set...

So, for instance, if you have four sets of ten reps of push ups, you'd do ten push-ups, stop, rest and then do the next ten and so on.

3- The "Input Repetitions" are how many you did in each set.. so if you did 10 in set one, input '10' or however many you did.

4- "Input Weight Used" is how much weight you used. If you were doing Dumbell Curls and were using a ten pound weight, that's what you would put in. If you don't add any weight (again, maybe pushups) put a '0' instead of body weight because that can change on any given day at any given time.

5- Do a set, rest for 30 to 90 seconds depending upon your goals.

6- I believe it's a better idea to complete one group of sets and move onto another exercise. I think there are some people that do one set of exercise one then move onto exercise two, but I could be mistaken.

1. Sets are the number of times that you do a certain number of repetitions.
2. Repetitions are the number of times you lift a weight.
3. If your refering to the workout plan it is asking you how many times you lifted that much weight.
4. How much weight you lifted for that set.

So say you are doing squats. Say you are going to do 135lbs. If you did that 12 times you would say I did 135lbs 12 repetitions(aka reps) on my first set. Then you would take a minute rest and do set two for say 10 reps at 155 lbs.
