I was wondering which was the best time to work out - morning or night, since these are the only times I can work it into my schedule. I am also thinking about starting some whey protein into my diet and it says to drink about an hour after working out and again three hours later. This isn't possible if I work out just before going to bed right? Any help is appreciated!

If you fill out your profile, we can better give you ideas according to your physique and age and sex and all that jazz, but some people like to work out in the morning, while others like to later. I prefer later. Arnold Schwarzenegger always liked to work out in the morning because he felt fresh and like he got a better workout that way, but I like to get a lot of nutrients into me and work out when I get home because I feel that I am more able to give my workouts more attention that way.
After workouts, you should drink have a shake within a half an hour and then sip down the rest over the next half an hour. You can find more about this and what to drink in the nutrition forums. bb1 has some great posts about what to do.

Well... one thing I think is key and that is, what works for you? Not everyone on this board is a body builder... many just want to get healthy and fit and look good... what works for others on this board may not work for you... I think getting up and doing it is important, no matter when.... you have to know your goals...
