Sunday night I was getting ready to go to bed and out of nowhere came this spell where my head felt like it weighed 200lbs. I literally could not walk because I was so dizzy. It was the same but to a lesser degree on Monday morning when I woke up. And even today, I still just don't "feel right".

I'm going to go to the doctor as soon as I can get an appointment, but I am starting to really worry. It seems to get gradually worse in the late evening and even as I type right now, it's almost like I can feel my head "filling up"...strange way to explain it, but it's the only way I know how. Any movement at all and the room shifts on me.

Any clues to get me over to my doctor's appointment?

obviously you need to see the doc, but if your worried about cancer relax - the symptoms of that are worst in the morning and get better as the day goes on.

I agree with princess, about the cancer and especially about seeing your doctor asap.

I sometimes get similar symptoms when my sinus infection takes over (the filling up in the head feeling, 200lb head, and the feeling of not feeling right)...don't know if that helps...Just don't want you to over-worry (like I do) before you know what's going on.

You have had a lot of stress lately with your new salon, ruined carpet etc., That can do wonders to your immune system. I find that after the stress subsides, that's when physical symptoms/maladies may decide to appear (so considerate to wait huh?) So please - do see your doctor, and do keep in touch. If there is anything we can do - just ask :)

And, most importantly: Get well soon :big_smile::big_smile:

Julienne,

I get similar dizziness occasionally and there is nothing I can do but lie down for a while. I think maybe it is blood-sugar related, but I also have sinus problems, so it could be related to that.

Let us know what your doctor says, and take care of yourself!
