Is it absolutely wrong to lift 2 days in a row?? I have to get another day in before tomorrow, so that means today, but I lifted yesterday. I won't die or anything right?

No you won't die. I would lift on different muscle groups than the ones you did yesterday though. It takes about 48 hours for a most muscles to recuperate completely, so training the same muscle two days in a row could be overdoing it and set you up for overtraining or injury, but the actual act of lifting two days in a row is fine. Now if you are doing full body workouts, you might do a lighter workout, yoga, or some isometric exercises. Be creative. There is usually something you can do if you want to. Even doing circuit training at a quicker pace might be ok, as it will take some of the emphasis off of strength moves and place it on cardio.
Anyway, there is two cents for you bank...deposit it quick before it depreciates.

True. I workout almost everyday. Different muscle groups of course.

you might not die, but i work out monday, tuesday, wednesday, friday, and saturday (as you can see 3 days and 2 days in a row) and i have noticed that i'm starting to grow hair on my knuckles. just kidding, i don't have hair on my knuckles, not that there's anything wrong with that, and it certainly isn't caused by lifting 2 or more days in a row. you're fine cristal, go for it!

cut it out charlie you're gonnna make me start blushing.
you know you'd be my #1 choice for an adopted dad, but only if i could send out christmas cards with pictures of me and the buffalo every year. that would be icing on the cake that i'm eating to gain weight before the challenge starts. i'm counting it as a complex carb because i couldn't understand the directions on the box.
