Everyone faces challenges every day. What follows is something that I have posted by my front door so that I see it every day. It inspires me to keep pushing, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.
I think it speaks to the guts and determination that it takes to keep trying, and winning. I'm a winner and so are you, no matter what your goals are, or how much work it takes to get there.
Invictus
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul

Thats is awsome! I know when I went for my angiogram I kept telling myself my favorite passage from dune.
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
---Frank Herbert, Dune - Bene Gesserit Litany Against Fear
-------------- I am that
which must be feared, worshipped and adored. The world is mine
now and forever. No one holds command over me. No man. No god. I am a beast and that is enough.
