I wouldn't worry about a week - I have seen several post about taking a week off if you lift heavy all the time

i took 2 weeks off from mono and it was just a little recoop time. when i started lifting again my strength had increased and i had gained more muscle mass. well that's obvious from the strength gain. NEways, don't worry about it. you'll be fine. and if you are like i am and focus more on upper body you can use a few extra weeks to redirect to lower body.

Yea work your lower body, the peak in extra testasterone from the work out, might help in recovery from it all.
