Is it better to have complex carbs or simple carbs after your workout(i usually do my cardio for 20 mins after weights),i have a fruit juice followed by whey protein w/milk after 15 mins,is that ok,especially since im trying to get ripped??Also after only cardio workout days what kind of supplementaion should one have?is only whey protein ok?

Simple carbs, dextrose and maltodextrin are good. Though malto is classified a complex carb, its chains are easily broken and essentially is a simple carb, a perfect partner for dextrose. A bit slower...so right behind it in absorbtion. Drop the milk.

After only cardio days, this depends on your goals. If getting "ripped" as you put it is your goal, I would wait 30 minutes or so, then have a protein/fats/fiber supplement as to not interfere with lypolisis.
