Hey everyone,
Like most of you who have lost weight I'm finding myself to be in that dreaded plateau phase. I've been the same weight for over 3 months now. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with my body wanting to retain fat during the winter months or what? I do notice however that during the spring and summer months I tend to lose fat fairly easily. My dilemma is wondering if any of you all could help me out as to how to vamp up my exercise/diet plan to challenge my body so that it will start losing again. In order to lose the 30 lbs that I've lost thus far I did a low carb plan. My goal now is to lose 10 more lbs, but more importantly if I can't spot reduce the tummy bulge I'd atleast like it to be more toned there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on what your current routine is and how many calories you average daily.
-------------- If you fall down seven times, get up eight.

over the winter I have remained exactly the same weight- finding it hard to make any headway.. It's winter so I think there is some sense to blaim the bodyclock cycle thru' life...
I mean I eat sensible, I run, I gym... near to daily (a bit greedy too)My calories are a tad high, because it's winter I think...
Make a new goal/aim/program today, write a new sensible eating plan and start on a new offensive for yourself after you've been shopping and ensured you've got the right stuff for the job.
Myself weighing 80kilos at 5' 9'' I've planned out a week to eat food to cover 1400min to 1900max calories per day, with no more than 35 grams fat-320 grams carbs, at least 80grams protein- 18grams fibre. This is for slow weight loss without really changing my food habits once sucess is achieved.
I hope its worth it and I need a late new year resolution- So try keeping a food diary and note what is in the food you eat and make adjustments to your fats and sugars where necessary. It's a good time of year to make new goals so..
Keep up the exercise and readdress food and you will win!

Im the exact opposite. During the winter I lost 30lbs and I am now also hitting a plateau. Today was my first morning cardio session to try and kickstart my body again. Try some running first thing in the morning and see how it goes.
