Just wondering if you ever adjust to drinking so much water? Right now I am drinking around 200oz. of water a day and can't seem to go for more than about 30 minutes w/o having to run to the restroom, does this ever change/get better? Please say it does!!!

Why 200 oz.?? If it is such a problem for you urinating every 30 minutes, then cut back on the intake. 200oz is more than enough. I go a gallon a day.

But, Kyrah, which is worse? To retain that much water in your body? or to go to restroom that much often?
200oz that's a lot! Good job on that water drinking.:)
I can only manage to drink about 70oz a day (Although I manage to drink 150oz on Saturday due to extreme hangover. Never drinking hard liquor again :(). Before I changed my diet, I used to drink barely two glasses of any type of liquid (be it pop, water or juice) a day.

I am serious though. I think my body changed with my diet and exercise. I don't drink alcohol that often, on average about once a month. Friday night was the first time I drank some hard liquor and this was my first hangover that couldn't be cured with advil. And I don't think I had that much compared to other times. I had a couple of bottles of smirnoff ice, 1oz vodka, 1oz whiskey and 1oz dry gin. My hangover wasn't a headache (at least I didn't notice). It was extreme thirst for about 15 hours. All I can manage to do was just to lay in my bed and drink water, nothing else. If I fall a sleep I will wake in about 15 min to drink water. I never knew thirst was a pain until then.:( I think if I am ever offered hard liquor again, I will mix it with juice or something at about 1:10 ratio before I drink that stuff again.:(

It is a lot of effort on your part to drink that much water. And I never heard anyone having harmful side effects other than having to go to restroom every 5 min.
But I think you will be well-hydrated with about 100oz a day, too.
My point being if drinking 200oz helps to control your diet, keep drinking what you drink now. But if you are stressed about drinking that much or about going to restroom too often, I say relieve those extra stress, so to speak. You will be fine with about half of what you are drinking now.

I think you will adjust. Aim for around a gallon a day and see how that goes.
