I was reading a muscle mag today at the gym when I was on the cycle, and it said that sometimes the best way to get more definition in your muscles is to lessen the weight, and increase the number of repetitions. Anyone know the truth to this? Will this just further the endurance of the muscle or will it help increase the overall size of the muscle?
Only do this for a short period of time, and supersetting would be ideal. If you do this for too long(light weight), your body will realize you don't need as much muscle mass and use it for energy. Extra muscle is but a burden on the body, and it will devour it if not needed, less maintenance. So, keep the weights as heavy as you can for the most part.:dumbbell:
