protiens not enough !!

being a student...i can't always eat 5 small meals a day...i take protine shake to help...my question is that my average intake of protiens shuld be 270g and on certain days i only get in about 130-150g...is this gonna hamper me from reachin my goals....??

That would depend on your current weight and what your goals are. You should shoot for at least 1 gr. of protein per lb. of body weight to maintain and probably more to gain. That's just a guideline. Not alot of info to go on.

No one ever said it was easy my friend...this is the sacrifice you have to make if you want to achieve your goals. Its not going to kill you to not get the protein you need daily, but it doesn't help. In order to build lean muscle tissue, you have to have protein available in your body...1-1.5 grams per pound of body weight.

yeah i know...guess i'm gonna have to try even harder this time round....my weight is 180 lbs....so my target protien intake was about 270g...

if I can intake 300grams a day with .........4 hours of school a day, another 4 hours of cheerleading and working out plus going to work I know you can. I'm up at 530 every day and go to bed at 10 or 11........use tupleware, sandwich baggies, put a cooler in your trunk, or carry a small one with you.....whatever it takes, only thing keeping you from your goal is the word...."I can't"
