i just read this article from e-fitness that stated the rush you feel from a hour work out is due to some chemical in the body found in chocolate.it also talked about heavy work outs only every two weeks.

Endorphins!!!! They are the natural high you get from working out.
Chocolate stimulates release of them, similar to being in love.
You may want to rotate the intensity of your workouts - going all out, all the time can be very stresful and hard to recover from.
