I was wondering since the deltoid muscles are smaller..right? so should i only do 3 sets or is 4 ok to do?

most people i know do 4 sets of 4 different exercises...

You might want to alternate workouts, for example, one day do heavy push presses to chin level, 3-5 sets, this will really work the delt area for mass, along with upright rows, 4 sets. In fact, a superset of these two is killer. The next time, do 3 sets of side laterals, 3 sets of rear laterals, and 3 sets of front laterals to isolate each. Do traps with both workouts.
