Blended protien before bed?

What kind of protien do you guys eat before bed? I know that it should be a broad spectrum of protiens so your body has a constant supply of aminios throughout the night, so I usually mix 40g whey protien and 4 egg whites with orange juice. I cant afford the blended protien so is there another good alternative? can you buy different protiens sepratly and mix them to make a more cost effective blended protien?

Whey is absorbed too fast to be useful. Casein is good. Eggswhites are good.

You can always use food. Have some meat, or an eggwhite omlette with one yolk and lots of omlette veggies (mix in a bit of chicken if you like),and a tbsp. of flax, or cottage cheese, a tbsp. of natural peanut butter, or cottage cheese, 2 tbsp. flax seed, and some eggwhites. Just some examples for you. Any of these are fine, just fit them into your calorie scheme.
