I have always been amazed how the olimpic weightlifters-lift the bar full of weights from the floor to an overhead extension. I'm not pretending to be like them, but would like to gain more strength and and do this type of lifting with more weight. Right now I can only lift 95, but I'd like to go up to 115 or so. I do the deadlift part ok, and the overhead extension ok, but the one that you lift the weight to your shoulders is the one I struggle the most(at 95 pounds)-if it isn't for this I could lift more than 95 pounds. What exercises are the ones practiced the most by olimpic weightlifters to lift heavier?

-------------- I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it is gone past me I will turn to see fear's path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain

With this type of execise (either clean and jerk or the snatch...sounds dirty) FORM IS EVERYTHING, or it can be a dangerous exercise. Either way, have someone at your gym(a pro) show you the correct form, THEN worry about putting up that weight.
-------------- May the lift be with you.
