My abs are not symmetric, one side seems lower than the other. Is it possible that this has happened because of my form during exercise and I can correct it? Or, is it genetic and I have to walk around with one shoe on to compensate?

No, as the great ogun said hold your head straight when you look in the mirror.

No, this is not unusual in any way. Nothing to do with the way you worked them.

If you look at a lot of the big time body builders, look closely at their abs.. their's are often a little off-symetrical as well. Don't sweat it, unless one side is like a foot lower than the other.
