need to fight cone shape

i'm a 30 year old female tryin to get into shape. i've always had gorgeous, naturally toned legs, but my upper body is ENORMOUS. the type of body a MALE would kill for? i mean, my shoulders are really broad. i realize there isn't much i can do without removing a shoulder..lol. i just tend to carry ALL of my weight in my upper body. when i lift weights my upper body muscles get LARGER which is exactly the opposite of what i want. i want a more symetric shape. i'm ill proportioned. i do lots of cardio, which does slim me down overall, but does anyone haev any tips that will help slim down the upper body? wide back, large GUT and big boobs with small legs...NOT a good combo. HELP??!!?!?!?!

In life we are dealt a certain hand of cards and we have to work with what we were given. Everyone has a certain body type and we are sometimes limited to what we can do with it. Some people gain muscle easily and other have a hell of a time gaining muscle. I wouldn't suggest to keep lifting with your upper body if you continue to grow. I recommned you continue the cardio and eat a proper diet to help with the gut and as far as the boobs go, I'm a man so I will not be much help in this category. Some woman would kill for big boobs..lol..

lol..thanx. i guess i just gotta deal..blah. i know lots of women that actually have my build but are very nice looking. madonna for instance...her bod is to die for. oh well..thanx for ur input though :)

Madonna is a weight trainer freak (just like us! ;o) so the body shape she has today is after a LOT of work.
What about your waist?
It's not bad to have broad shoulders if you have a small waist. Work your obliques and do some squats to build up a niiice bum who'll just look good with the rest......
