Hi, I'm an active 23 year old male, 5'10", 163 lbs. I'm looking to gain mass/muscle and am curious as to what the before bedtime meal should consist of. ie. p/c/f, shakes? etc.. and how long before bed I should take it.
as well, I am taking creatine, l-glutamine, and Prolab N-large 2 supplements; should I include any of these before bed as well?
my nutrition program says to take no more than 3260 Calories/day.
thanks for the help.

I would have some cottage cheese, very slow digesting so will give a steady stream of aminos, 1-2 tbsp. of natural peanut butter for good fats and further slow digestion, and some fiber like flax seed or even a cup of veggies or a leafy green salad. Great for gaining.

Awesome! Thanks bb1fit. Another quick question. If someone is trying to gain mass, should they avoid carbs late at night?

No, carbs are very much welcome also in the night time when you are trying to put on mass. But get some slow burning carbs with protein and good fat.

Sounds like that's dinner...but that should be fine.

I agree with BB1. I normally have a bowl of cottage cheese with pinapple (I have a hard time with cottage cheese w/o fruit)and wash it down with a whey protein shake mixed with skim milk. I eat and drink this about 15 minutes before I go to sleep.
