I am wondering if i should be taking some kind of protein drink after running? I also try and weight lift 3 days a week and after that i drink protein shakes so after running should i be doing the same ?
I have just started a cardio program of 45 mins aday and in order to maintain what muscle mass I have I do a protien drink right after my cardio. 20 to 40 grams depends on how hard I go at it.

I personally grap a big spoon of L-glutamine straight after I come home from a run, then stretching and shower and THEN a nice REAL meal with veggies and proteins.
Works for me.
