goal is to lose fat. bottom line. should i be doing cardio everyday? perhaps working out 3 days per week along with the cardio. as i understand it, (along with the clean eating of course) would this be the best route to go?
You all are so awesome. I just want to tell you all that this is the most supportive site i have ever been to and you all are like family to each other. I def. recommend this site to others!!

HIIT is high intensity interval training. It is done just as the name implies, intensity in intervals, i.e....up and down heart rate. This in the end raises baseline metabolism for the day, thus burning more fat than standard cardio.
A split routine is simply breaking up your bodyparts you work into different days, instead of all in one day.
