Gotta give those muscles some time to rest. Wouldn't suggest it.

Pimple, do as many push-ups as you can do, then tell me where you feel it the most. I'm jokin' wit you. It primarily works your chest and triceps.

Does it also get the back?

I am working my way up with pushups as well. I love it cause I can do them anywhere (same with my ab work)

Taurie...not an ideal exercise for the back. It really doesn't work it at all. Gawdess, push-ups are excellent, but nothing beats good old iron pumping in the gym. With that, you can hit the chest at different angles.

Yeah, I know what you're talkin' bout. Those are good for really hitting the chest nice and wide...gives a wider look.

Haven't done a pushup since I left the military. I did way to many then. Had something to do with my attitude although I beg to differ. Good riddance to 'em.

Haha - I miss being able to do push ups. I maxed out my PT test in the army and could do them forever (75 of them was pretty damn good for a girl!). *sigh* I think my number of them had something to do with my fabulous attitude also! ;-)
I need to get better at them now!

Hey all. I'm new. I'm also young but love working out. Would love it if someone helped me out and told me how to work "love handles." I seem to have little ones that won't go away! Help :) Thanx! Mwah!

They are called push-up bars. You do push-ups normally, while holding on to them. They make you work harder because your body is is lowered more.
