Missing a day how bad?

I've been working out consistantly for 4 months and i was wondering if i don't work out on my scheduled day but 2 days later if it will have any effect? or should i just wait till next week to work that muscle group. i just don't have time to workout today so i was going top make it up on friday will that be fine.

No, it will be fine. Go ahead and make it up if you can. Sometimes we have to work around a busy schedule. For instance, if I know for a fact the gym will be closed or I can't possibly get there the next day, I will combine both workouts the day before. Just simply the next day you go in, try and pick up the body part you missed, and do your normal workout also. If you are doing full body workouts, then don't even worry about it. Just do it the next time you go in.
