So this weekend it finally happened!!! the moment that i've been waiting for. For those of you who don't know a few weeks ago I made a post about this woman that i work with ( whom I can't stand) she had started a new relationship with food and was losing weight. She would eat light in the am have dinner around 3 then stop at wendy's for a salad after she would get out of work at like 12 in the morning. VERY unhealthy. She was losing muscle mass. She does look thinner, BUT thats coming to an end. She was telling me this weekend that her husband made dinner, i asked what she had, steak potatoes and baby carrots, which prompted me to say " hey stacy hows that diet going??" she said its not a diet its "a new relationship with food" and she said she has stopped losing that "she's kinda hit a plateau". So now she lost all that muscle mass, which slowed her metabolism, so now i hope her eating will lead the food to be stored as fat. and that she will start PACKIN ON DA POUNDS!!! i know its mean but this lady is the meanest b**** I have ever met.

Haha. OK, we shouldn't condone this attitude...but I have to say that i had someone I worked with who I felt the same way with. She went to the Gym ONE TIME last month - and went on and on about how she was so tired and that she went to the gym for an hour that morning....ALL DAY LONG. I'm thinking - What's your problem? I go every morning before work?!?! *sigh* some people!

OK, venting is fun eh? I got laid off last week, so I don't have to deal with that **tch again!

These are the "misinformed people", the ones who swear up and down that going to the gym is impossible or eating healthy is just not do-able...these are the lazy ones in denial of their own health or lack there of. These are the people who don't realize that after going to the gym for a week or two, the tired feeling and the aches and pains start to go away as your body adjusts. Of course they quit after a week or go once or twice a month and say, "its not working". How will they ever know if they don't stick to it?! I know, I used to be one of them, long time ago. Thats my two cents. :-)

I think we all have one of those people around us. There's this woman at work who, when she sees me preparing a shake, or my tuna, veggies or whatnot, she says "Still on your diet?!?" I always tell her "No, I'm not on a 'diet' to lose weight, I'm just eating healthy" Meanwhile she's heating up some junky diet TV dinner in the microwave!! It wouldn't bother me really... but she's done it like 5 times now.. ah well. I've educated all in my workplace that are willing to learn. What more can ya do? =)
