Ok I got some extra fat on my upper thighs and I was wondering without losing any muscle overall how can I lose weight in my legs and keep building muscle in my upper body?

I was sort of the same way. My legs had a little extra fat. I ran on the treadmill 5-6 days a week for approx 30 minutes a session. I know everyones body reacts different but it worked for me.

Cannot spot-reduce fat on your body. Diet or cadio is the way to go.

Its tough to get the best of both worlds...if you want to lose fat and gain size, its pretty tough.
