Is it true that these groups should not be worked on the same day??

I hope not because my FT program has both on the same day. Your post name scared me for a second. Thought you would be asking something kinky

NO. I have had great gains at times doing a chest and bi and tri day. The main reason, and someone can correct me if I am wrong, that you normally do not is one time and two the tris are hit during chest so they may not get as good a workout as if done on another day. Also the tri is the larger muscle and some may get a pump that does not allow the bi to get worked right and vice versa. It really is a matter of choice.

You realy are a deep river, ATIGER. Imagine thinking that I or my lil brother fryer might have a bit of kink. I have no idea where you would get such an idea.
I do seem to remember reading here that they should be split up though. I might be wrong

Mutt is right...it is a matter of preference. For example, during some cycles, I prefer to pre-fatigue my tris by working on chest first, or pre-fatigue my bis by working on back first.
My first workout when I joined FT about 2 years ago had me working on them on the same day. After the 3rd or 4th week, it was getting more difficult to lift heavy. Once I completed the program, I split the arm workout into separate days...this allowed me to overcome my plateau.
Hope this helps...

I hope you had success in your last 3 programs! I believe I went through about 6 or 7 programs, can't remember now.

charlie: we get a bad rap sometimes, but that's ok...You did ask Bi-Tri's; not Tri-bi's...
I got a question that doesn't relate to this, but I am going to ask it anyway. Do you golf?
I tried to golf the other day; I didn't score worth a crap, but I did hit two good balls. I stepped on a rake!
Have a good one.............

Yes boating could quite costly I imagine...
Tri's & Bi's workout at the same time...You will not believe the pump you can get when working them in the same workout...I work them seperately for now, but plan on going back to it after our challenge is over...Take a close look on when the back/chest workouts are, and what exercises they have you doing for them. I'm definately no pro, but I have to seperate the arms/back at least a couple of days; unless your doing the push/pull scheme...
Good luck....
