I am at the age where growing sort of spurts and i am just wondering if doing many sessions of intense cardio can cause u to be smaller (shorter less wide etc) by restricting growth. Because ever since doing cardio (lots) ive noticed im getting smaller compared to my friends..or it could just be genetics...just wondering. So is there anyway cardio limits size (not fat)?
thanks

thanks sub!
hmmm..after rereading what i posted i realized I phrased it wrong. I actually do the cardio to shed off the excess fat ( from my face, stomache and such )however, I am just wondering if doing lots of cardio can make u smaller in terms of your frame size and height and such, because I sure do not want that. Just need to make sure cardio does NOT restrict my growth.
thanks

People grow up playing sports, that involve lots of cardio work like track, running, even basketball and football, wind sprints, etc. It will have no effect on your growth. Will most assuredly increase your lung capacity and make you healthier though!
