I was just wondering about everyones daily schedule with what they EAT and if you were to jog and lift weights, what would you suggest for a beginner?

You need to find YOUR maintenance calories. Then you can make your adjustments however you want to go, up or down. Go for a week, write down everything you eat each day. At the end of the week, if your weight stayed the same, average out the calories and this should be very close to your maintenance calories. Now, chances are when you write down what you eat, you are going to see not so good of a diet. Your first job is to switch these "empty" calories for nutritional calories, like lean proteins, good complex carbs and fibrous veggies, and EFA's. This in itself will give you some great results, and when you level off, start reducing(if trying to lose fat), by 250 calories per day until the losses start again. Stay there with that till it levels off again, and then proceed. You may create the calorie deficit by decreasing calories or adding more exercise, or a combination of both. Hope this helps, good luck.
