The next step in the 12 Ab Program involves Verticle Bench Crunches... I do not have access to the piece of equipement required for the exercise as I'm doing the Home Program and have next to nothing in regards to gear. Is there a subsitute I can use? I also have no way of hanging a bar from my ceiling....

Thanks,
Tim

Verticle Bench Crunches target lower abs so if you simply can't do them you will have to substitute another exercise that targets lower abs. Try hanging leg raises, it is the most similar, or seated leg tucks

Just lay on the floor or a mat and do leg lifts or weighted leg lifts, or reverse crunches with a swiss ball if you have one. You can actually do those without a ball too.

You could also try doing a few seated leg tucks.
